Music and ME provides fun, creative, and educational children’s music classes in Carshalton, South London, offering a variety of unique and specialised sessions for children of all ages and abilities across South-West London.
Our lively, music-filled classes nurture cognitive, language, physical, creative, and social-emotional development while giving every child the chance to explore, express, and enjoy music in a happy, inclusive environment.
Alongside our group sessions, we also offer instrument tuition, including piano, guitar, and singing lessons, specially tailored for young learners. Our teaching style is fun, encouraging, and adaptable — designed to support each child’s individual pace, strengths, and learning style.
We are passionate about making music accessible to all children, and proudly offer Music with Therapy sessions for children with SEND and neurodivergent needs (more info here). These sessions combine the power of music with mindful, therapeutic techniques to help children connect, communicate, and thrive through sound and rhythm.

At Music and ME we follow monthly learning themes with various curriculum-based development objectives and actively encourage our music makers and their guardians to become as creative in and outside of lessons using Music and ME educational goals.
Children love learning the benefits of playing music and music is the perfect tool to develop basic skills like sharing, responding to direction and general good behaviour. We are very proud to have some of the best ‘tidy uppers’ at our classes!
